Der cRIO-9035 ist ein robuster, lüfterloser Embedded-Controller für anspruchsvolle Steuerungsund Überwachungsanwendungen. Dieser softwarebasierte Controller verfügt über ein FPGA, einen Echtzeitprozessor mit dem Betriebssystem NI Linux Real-Time und eine integrierte Benutzeroberfläche. Über den Mini-DisplayPort lässt sich zudem eine lokale Mensch-Maschine-Schnittstelle (HMI) für die Anwendungsentwicklung hinzufügen. Der cRIO-9035 bietet zudem einen SDHC-Steckplatz und zahlreiche Anschlussmöglichkeiten, darunter zwei Tri-Speed RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet-Anschlüsse, zwei USB-Host-Anschlüsse, einen USB-Device-Anschluss und zwei serielle RS-232-Anschlüsse.
