Composition:
Positive conductor: Nicrosil (Ni‑84.4 %, Cr‑14.2 %, Si‑1.4 %)
Negative conductor: Nisil (Ni‑95.6 %, Si‑4.4 %)
Temperature Range: –270 °C to +1,300 °C (continuous operation possible up to 1,260 °C)
Sensitivity: ≈ 39 µV/°C at 900 °C
Wire length: 500mm
Accuracy (IEC 60584‑1 Class 1): ±1.5 °C or ±0.4% of reading (whichever is greater), over the range –40 °C to +1,100 °C.
Enhanced Stability:
Designed for exceptional oxidation resistance and long-term EMF stability—even in inert or reducing atmospheres—making it significantly more stable than Type K, particularly in the 300–500 °C range
Construction:
Mineral-insulated (MI) cable format (≥ 98% MgO insulation)
