Il ROBA®-multiswitch è utilizzato per il funzionamento con una tensione di ingresso compresa tra 100 e 500 VAC, a seconda della dimensione. Dopo l'accensione, emette la tensione rettificata del ponte per 50 ms e poi si regola automaticamente su una tensione di sovraeccitazione preprogrammata. Al termine del tempo di sovraeccitazione, regola alla tensione di mantenimento programmata permanentemente. Per i valori di tensione di sovraeccitazione e tensione di mantenimento del design standard. Su design speciali, sono possibili valori diversi. Il tempo di sovraeccitazione può essere regolato tramite un interruttore DIP a 150 ms, 450 ms, 1 s, 1,5 s e 2 s.
