Ved mekanisk eller motstandsbremse går energi tapt som varme, og ekstra kjøling er ofte nødvendig, mens regenerativ drift gir betydelige besparelser i energiforbruk og kjøling. Driveen oppnår en effektfaktor på én, noe som betyr at elektrisk energi brukes til sitt fulle potensial. Utstyrt med en aktiv forsyningsenhet og integrert lavharmonisk linjefilter, produserer den regenerative driveen eksepsjonelt lav harmonisk innhold.
