- The EDW-100 is a serial-to-Ethernet converter designed to allow RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 serial devices to communicate via Ethernet TCP/IP networks. DIP switches are used for RS-422/485 configuration and Ethernet port settings; the password-protected web interface is used for all other settings. You can access diagnostic information via a Telnet session or take advantage of the information offered by the LEDs. The EDW-100 is designed for use in industrial applications.
